I used a virus protection program when we used to have it for download. It was unfortunately a trial version.

It's still available. In fact, the license just got updated, so if you're currently using the AVG software, you'll need to jump through the hoops on the eServices home page to continue using it. Took me about 10 minutes to do a version upgrade, and redo the license thing.

Is AVG donated to CAP or does NHQ pay for the license?
If it is donated to CAP, why isn't it on the list?

But it doesn't count as an ID without a picture. You probably just showed them your membership card, didn't you.  8)

What is the difference between AVG Free and AVG Pro?  It has been a while since I have used it.  Is it just the type of license (free for personal home use)?

I admit I've had that happen a lot when I pull out the good 'ole photo ID.  A lot of people get confused and think we're real military.

A lot of people get confused and think we're real military.

Could that be because your trying to get a military discount with it?

CAP MEMBER: "Do you offer a military discount?"

THEM: "Yes we do, do you have a military ID?"

CAP MEMBER: "Yes I do, here's it is" - pulling out CAP ID card

THEM: "Oh, it says AF Auxiliary, you must be in the AF."

:-\

I can't think of a time where I 'pulled out the 'good 'ole photo ID' (or needed to) other than to get on base.

Well when I asked at my local verizon and before that sprint I didn't ask for a military discount, I asked about corporate discounts.  When they asked for an ID from the orginization (whether it be a business card or work ID, etc) and I showed them the CAP ID they said military.
