For those of you who don't like CAP to do non AF missions, here is a good story for you. New York Wing decided to help out a farmer by sending out a plane and a ground team to look for two missing buffalo. This was done as a corporate mission for a cost of $144 since it would be good training. This little investment gained them a huge article in the local paper that explored all the aspects of CAP that is great advertising.

Do they get a find ribbon for that? ;D ;D ;D
if they only had a trainng mission number, probaably not.
then again, who knows?
I thought it was a really nice article.
Personally, I think they should have assigned the Buffalo, NY squadron to this mission.

LMAO! :D
I think they definitely got their money's worth in advertising.
Maybe we should make a new ES qualification for that.
^^ At least a task. Task #x : locate bovine/equestrian creature and herd it back to corral/pasture.
Ah jeez, here I go again with another flash animation to illustrate a humorous situation...
