Except for the CAP community, I don't utilize Reddit. I'm told that I'm unable to create an original post because of my "post karma" rating. I've already received advice to go to "r/funny" or similar and just post random stuff to get my karma up, but that just seems really tiring not knowing how much I'll need to do this.
This is all to prevent newly created spam accounts being ale to post, which I get... However there are no rules posted which I could find as to what the karma requirements are to be able to start a new thread. Although still low, I don't think my "comment karma" or up-votes to my comments help this issue. My "Cake Day" was over 3 years ago.
Thank you for any CONSTRUCTIVE advice you may be able to give 😁
Contact the mods on the sub and ask them directly as they are the ones who can tell you what is required for interacting on that sub.
Post a cat video in /r/awwwww, that will solve everything.
I forget what the floor is, but they just don't want brand new bot accounts posting willy-nilly
