Squadron Note:

Lake in the Hills Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol ยท It is with a heavy heart that we share that Maj David Hooper has passed away. Maj. Hooper enjoyed teaching Aerospace Education at squadron meetings, providing hands education for the cadets. He also loved doing Cadet orientation flights, many times it was the cadet's first experience in an aircraft. He touched many lives during his years of service. He will be dearly missed. Maj Hooper was also a veteran of the US Air Force and retired American Airlines captain.
