Hi y'all,
What have been some fun meeting ideas for squadrons who have a ton of new cadets that are moving to in person meetings? We have a lot of new cadets, and I want to do a lot of hands-on stuff with them after a year of virtual meetings. Specifically looking for ES related activites, but open to anything.
Thanks!
ES related, you could do a nav course if you have the space, even a small course could be set up on a football field.
Litter relays if you're looking for a competition and have at least two litters available.
Bring in a first aid instructor and get everyone certified.
Set up a communications exercise so everyone gets some much needed practice on sending and receiving radio traffic.
Order the drone stem kit and have the Cadets start logging practice hours there.
Pull out a plane and have the Cadets learn to do the preflight checklists.
Go for a short hike/ruck march.
Go Geocaching.

Don't stop there. Make it an O'Ride day. :)
