...I finally got my retirement papers from the CAP LPA (Lieutenant's Protective Association).
As of July 16, 2007, I've been promoted to Captain.
And like they say... no promotion is ever official until it has been wetted down at the O-Club bar; any of youse s'members in the DFW area can go wet down my railroad tracks at the Addison Two Rows brewery and restaurant! (AKA the Addison Eagles Officers' Club.)
Three more years to Major... already have Level III out of the way!

I just finished all my paperwork for my Level III tonight. Now time in grade to get Major is July 2009.
Guess I better start working on my Master Level for Spec Track 227.
Always nice to see a Florida Boy make good (at least in most cases.) I will make it a point to go out to the airport and tell Handrahan that one of his cadets made good.
