I put this on my blog, but not everybody goes there, so I thought I'd put it here too.
The category is: World Geography
Remember to phrase your response in the form of a question.
The answer is: "Geographically speaking, the three closest nations to the United States are Canada, Mexico, and this."
Good luck.

What is Bermuda?
What is Russia?
Or maybe Russia off the Bering Straits
I was going to put "What is Cuba" but then I remembered that The Bahamas is closer, so "What is the Bahamas?"
What is Russia?

Sorry about that, I answered before I got to the "Good luck" wish.
Anyway, as I said, What Is Cuba?
What about the sovereign Indian Nations whose boarders are surrounded by the United States?

Don't call me Shirley.
Well, before this gets completely out of hand (and begins resembling a bad comedy routine), the correct response is:
What is Russia?
Russia and the U.S. are about two miles apart at Big Diomede and Little Diomede Islands off the coast of Alaska.
Another?

Those are sovereign but not independent nations. (I'm a Native American myself.)

You just try speeding down Tamiami Trail (US 41) through the
Sovereign Mikkosukee Nation and see how independent they are.

Also, the island of Great Thatch (an uninhabited island that is part of the British Virgin Islands), is separated by one mile of water (or less) from the island of Saint John (part of the United States Virgin Islands).
So technically, you could say it is the United Kingdom. Legally, the British do not consider the British Virgin Islands to be an integral part of the United Kingdom, but do consider it to be under their sovereignty.
