What are the different nametags worn with the different uniforms? I have seen about four or five different ones. Please clarify color and what actually goes on each one. Wish CAP was a simple as Army--one ugly nametag for every uniform.
Thanks.
Cadets: three-line blue nametag
Seniors: three-line gray nametag (except on Blue Corporate - aka TPU - uniform)
Seniors wearing Corporate Blue Uniform: two-line blue nametag
Senior Members wearing AF-style Service Dress: silver metallic nametag
Senior Members wearing Corporate Service dress: silver metallic nametag with 'CIVIL AIR PATROL' and last name.
Blazer nametag: last name, wing/region affiliation and CAP crest.
Three-line nametag:
CIVIL AIR PATROL
UNITED STATES AIR FORCE AUXILIARY
LASTNAME
Two line nametag:
CIVIL AIR PATROL
LASTNAME
Confusing enough for ya? One of these days they'll stop the insanity... but I wouldn't hold my breath! ;D
Actually, the two-line nametags--both the blue plastic and silver metallic--are now:
U.S. CIVIL AIR PATROL
LASTNAME
^ [darn] them...........

They'll hafta pry my original two-line nametag from my cold, dead fingers... or when I feel like changing 'em. But not before 2010! ;D
I'm just gonna wait for the next national commander to reverse the policy. That, or they can buy me a new one.
Opps!
