Title: High resolution Emergency Services Patch
Post by: floridacyclist on July 06, 2007, 12:48:25 PM
I found the Birddog patch on the FL Wing Website, but has anyone seen a decent-looking T-34 patch logo? We need it for some certificated etc. I hadn't thought about asking here until I saw the other post.

I have a halfway done Illustrator effort, but nothing usable at this time.

Sounds like my Illustrator one...halfway done. If you have the airplane, I have the rest :)

The airplane is the hard part. Getting the colors right is becoming a problem, too. There are several different versions of the patch (I have two) and I'm trying to get the best looking rendition.

The colors weren't hard. I just used the color picker in Illustrator on a scanned graphic of the patch. If I get some free time, I can do the airplane, I just haven't had time to sit and play since they keep expecting me to do work here at this place I go to every day.

I'll give it a shot this week if I can. I haven't messed with it in a while. I'm working with scanned patches, in addition to the scanned graphic.

I saw a decent-looking BW version of the patch in 39-1 last night if that helps any.

Yup, that's the basis for my effort. Getting it into vector format is the tedious part, and I'm not very patient with it.
