Title: California Wild Fires
Post by: grunt82abn on August 19, 2016, 04:40:27 PM
Just attended a briefing on current wildfire conditions hitting California. To all my CAP family living in California and other areas of the country affected by these fires and other disasters occurring, stay safe and be careful!!! You all are in my thoughts and prayers!!!

Where we live on the Central Coast of California, there are fires 40 miles to the north of us (Chimney - Northern San Luis Obispo County) and 50-60 miles to south (Rey - Santa Barbara County).  Though we are in no immediate danger, we have friends in North County that are in the fire zone -- and the air quality is unpleasant to say the least....depending on which way the wind blows.

In other words Paul, just another typical California Fire Season.

And who says that California doesn't enjoy the "four seasons".   We have floods (when El Nino comes through), fires, fog and earthquakes.
