Here is a video of a great SAR training day I had with a local volunteer SAR organization.  Just some views of what other SAR organizations are up to these days.  And..... Huey engine sounds.

This is relevant for a couple reasons.. #1. Its awesome.  #2.  People like Hueys.... however #3. this shows what other local agencies have at their disposal.  Ive heard in many cases in and around my area "Why doesnt anyone call CAP?"   From the initial call asking about training, to the day we were firing up and flying 4,  6 person dog teams to their respective training areas was about 2 weeks.  I dont know that CAP would even allow members to do this.
