Worse....that is ways and means......that falls under a whole set of digraphs and other special caveats.
I do hope the verifying intel people do/did a good job... I have a frightening mental image of the next ISIS "Selfie" having doctored coordinates for an orphanage or a hospital...

Not necessarily. Our telling them may possibly be deliberate. There is a whole art to psychological warfare. ISIS has been known to heavily use social media for recruitment, especially Westerners. So a deliberate "hey look at what we just did" may help undermine that use. However, the only people to know whether it was deliberate or not are the people that posted it.
