Title: Erroneous eligibility for grandfathered promotion criteria
Post by: VPI18 on May 18, 2015, 11:08:28 PM
I just pulled the Promotion Eligibility Report for my unit and noticed that many members who should be ineligible for the grandfather clause are being listed as eligible. Has anyone else been experiencing this issue? If a member has a date of grade prior to 11 August 2014, they will have at least 9 months time in grade as of writing. However, some members with less than 9 months TIG are being listed as eligible for grandfather requirements. There doesn't appear to be any consistency, as some members erroneously listed as eligible for grandfathering have less TIG than those that are correctly listed as ineligible.

I have one person who has been a 1LT for almost two years falling into the new program without grandfathering, (out of 29)

Check the listings in the SM Promotion module of e-services. From what I've seen, all the requirements have been implemented there, including the grandfathering rules.
