It is as stunning as gravity.....but with more action!
Great movie!
It is long....so go pee before hand and only get a small drink!
Why are still here reading this....go see the movie!
I'll have to check it out. Hopefully there is more action than Gravity. Any less and I would not be able to stay awake.
I will see it. I have been told IMAX is the way to see it too. 8)
Master Sergeant Harris, don't spoil it for me, and that is a DIRECT ORDER. :) 8)
My wife and I plan to see it this weekend. I wanted to when I first read the reviews.

Okay.....there's this guy....who goes into space. Then there is a bunch of stuff happening,,,,and you know, like, like that thing that happened in that move with that one guy. You know the guy who was married to the ditzy broad who went to school with Sheila. You know Sheila she was my co-worker's wife's sister. She went to that school that had that mascot.....not an alligator but like that.......:)
Saved me $1.20!
Just got back from watching this movie. No words... I am absolutely astounded at the gorgeous visuals that this movie offers, as it sort of revives my dreams of one day becoming an astronaut...
From all reports this movie is like Gravity. To get the FULL effect you HAVE to see it in IMAX.
Is it in 3d, too?
Imax? But the showplace 8 by my mojito place doesn't have imax!
   Well played Sir. Well played.

RHIP...sometimes it's good, other times... :P
Saw it last night, but I think it sort of fell off the rails a bit at the end -- didn't like how they tried to explain some of the stuff that happened at the beginning of the movie.
Actually I was disappointed too. I saw it on Veteran's Day and it just rambled on. I was hoping for "Gravity II" and got the "Grapes of Wrath II". >:(

I saw it and now I want to be a farmer with a bomb shelter on my back 40. ???
Just got home from seeing Interstellar. And I second the statement: GO. SEE. THIS. MOVIE!!!
It's the 2001 of our era ... and it's a lot easier to understand! More action and excitement, too!
LOVED the movie! I strongly recommend everyone see it!
Jack
2001 was easy to understand, once you saw 2010. ;)
This is the reason why we will never see eye-to-eye on uniforms, on Emergency Services, and any other issue brought to CAPTalk, ladies and gentlemen.
Some people saw a movie, and completely different perceptions!
One faction, "it put me to sleep." Zzzzzzzzzzzz [insert image of a saw cutting a log]
Another faction, "exciting!"
:P

...so what's your point? ;D
Jack
My points?
Re-read my message.
Look at the "i" and the end of the sentences. And the exclamation mark!
You will find my points. All of them!
;D
"Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light."

Pretty good points there ...

Dylan Thomas, still, the movie sorta sucketh and was pretty sophomorish..
I agree. The space time continuum made more sense in the "Back to the Future" franchise. I think I was expecting too much so the movie never made it to my expectations. 8)
I think that the people who were disappointed after watching the movie were expecting something that followed the strict guidelines of theoretical physics and astrophysics, along with quantum mechanics. We must remember that this is a movie, and a science fiction.
Note: The soundtrack was just released, and it is phenomenal.
HAHAHA!!!!!! Well said. I hope it's still playing.
