Title: Does anyone use google sites for CAP Sqaudron site?
Post by: celticpiping on November 02, 2014, 01:58:34 AM
Just wondering if folk out there are using google site builder scheme as the official wing
website tool of choice for your state?
Our state does, or at least wants squadrons to move to it: I have a tough time with the
lack of...freedom when designing/adding content...

any IT Officers out there have a thought?

Many units do.

There's not much a unit, or even a wing, needs to do that it can't, and the things it doesn't are better let to
Google apps or some other member only non-public service.

Just a reminder, any CAP "Internet Operations" require a Wing or higher commander's approval.  So, if that's what they want, that's what they'll get.
