Are you a patron?

I don't believe patrons get a new card on renewal.

I decided to renew and just got my new card in the mail a couple of days ago.

Maybe it's because I've been promoted recently and my new grade is on the card....

I renewed shortly before the end of August and received my new membership card within a few weeks. However, I did find this, which might be applicable: http://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/cap_home/national_patron/ (http://www.gocivilairpatrol.com/cap_home/national_patron/)

QuoteMembers of the National Patron Squadron do receive a membership card, the Civil Air Patrol Volunteer magazine, many discounts and benefits offered to all members, and website access to their membership information.

So you should get one, but there might be a delay. I know that it took almost half a year to get my initial membership card. It turned out it was a "perfect storm" of FBI backlog, changing vendors, and general bad luck in my case   ;D

Thanks gentlemen.

I wasn't a patron till few weeks ago. I joint the patron unit because my military commitments and I didn't want my membership to expire. It took me a while to recover everything after I rejoin in 2008.

Thanks Freeman.
