Title: For Those on the Personnel Track...
Post by: Luis R. Ramos on July 25, 2014, 04:14:29 PM
At last, new tests!

New online tests for Technician, Senior, and Master.

New CAPP 200, Personnel Officer Study Track pamphlet dated 25 July 2014.

Done. The typos are numerous on the tests making some questions nonsensical, otherwise good.

Agree. Which test you took? I took Personnel Senior... Passed!

Moot point for me since I already have a Master rating in Personnel... wouldn't mind taking the tests to become familiar with them!

I took all three, and even though some had two answers that could be correct, and the nonsensical spelling, they were generally well thought out exams.

I am having issues with the 5 awards or decorations applications/nominations. Does this mean only the awards like distinguished service, life saving award, etc.? Or is this any award such as Yeager, Leadership, Level II?

Check out CAPR 39-3. That should answer your concerns. The Leadership and completion of Level II is a professional development issue and that's covered in CAPR 50-17

All PD Awards are done on a F24

Yeager is automatically entered when the test is taken on line.

Medals of Valor, DSA, ESA, MSA, CommComm, Achievement, and Lifesaving Awards are done on F120.

I've completed everything I need except the Corporate Learning Course.  Does this mean the test my commander administered last spring is no longer valid?

Well, more work, but it's a good thing.  Strange, if it was not required, I was looking forward to trying the test to learn.  If it is a requirement, strange how I've become a crybaby and pout!

Oh well, we complain when we don't get training, then when national provides it...

It's all good.
