On CAPF 17s and 31s there are options for your signature (and parent signature on CAPF 31) squadron cmdr and wing commander signatures and anytime a member wants to participate outside of their home wing they need their wing commander's signature; but I am not sure which regulation that concerns this (I need it for my own reference to teach new members).
I don't know if that is actually a regulation.
At the discretion of the Activity Director, I believe.
I couldn't back that up with a reference though.
I think it depends on the wing and activity.
Many wing CCs don't care, or treat activities in "touching states" as not needing approval,
others require anyone leaving to have their OK.
I've found it's not even consistent within a Region.

Ok that makes sense; I had always thought it was the rule not the exception but in this case I see its the other way around. Ok was just curious, because I could never find it because I had always thought I was looking in the wrong place.
