Title: Where can I find a CURRENT list of specialty tracks, and info on them.
Post by: aviator9417 on January 18, 2014, 09:49:46 PM
All I can find is info that is outdated and I cannot find any new or current information on specialty tracks.

This is the authoritative list of current pamphlets:  http://www.capmembers.com/forms_publications__regulations/pamphlets-1702/ (http://www.capmembers.com/forms_publications__regulations/pamphlets-1702/)

The two issues to be aware of -

Not all the specialties have published pamphlets.

Not all the pamphlets are current in regards to the information on the tests or processes.  ESO & PDO come to
mind right away (for example the 213-Senior ECI test no longer exists and has been waived by NHQ).

Be advised that PDO was updated as recently as this past April, and was updated a couple of years ago before that.

What happened to the ITO specialty track?

EDIT: Nevermind I didn't see it in the list of specialty tracks and now I found it.

Would you recommend the ITO track?  What are some of the pro's and con's?

If you are interested in said specialty track do it.

There are no pros or cons to any specialty track......except if you unit does not need that speicalty you may not have a whole lot to do.
On the flip side of that......being interested in a specialty track is a way for your unit to start doing that sort of stuff.
