Title: Cadet Wing Conference
Post by: Copout2 on December 16, 2013, 02:45:25 AM
So, The Cadet Day at Wing Conference has been put under me. A measly C/2Lt. I have no idea where to start, can some people please help me.

You weren't just thrown to the wolves. There is a conference committee and chain of command. Use them.

That's precisely the problem. I am the committee, and I have a staff of only 3 others to help me. That is why I need ideas.

So what ideas have you come up since November 21 when you posted this thread:  http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=18207.0 (http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=18207.0)

Have you talked with your wing's CAC?  Other cadets in the wing?  What opportunities or resources do you have available at the location of your cadet conference?  Have you looked at other wing's websites for similar agendas?

Suggestion 1: Change your name. The choice of a forum name that is associated with failure is just the wrong way to start things off.

The three staff have nothing to say, at all? Circulate the need for more staff. That's not going to get anything done.

The event has been done previously, does anyone have at After Action Reports from it?

Seek some feedback from those who did it before..  though I realize that sometimes politics can get in that way, and they may be 'pouting' over them not doing it again.  Which is why AAR's for events should be filed at headquarters for review.

Find out if the preceding coordinator left a continuity book.
