Today marks four years since the passing of Ltc. Phillip Aye, a friend to several of us on this board. You guys mght remember the original thread http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=8734.msg161526#msg161526 (http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=8734.msg161526#msg161526).
Miss ya, buddy! Lots of folks in KSWG are thinking of you today.
This topic has been on my mind for three days now. Yesterday was a very difficult day for many folks across the country. Lt Col Aye touched the lives of many members. I just hope that those members remember the lessons learned and pass them along to those that they are now teaching. This is the best way to honor his memory. Two things that he constantly preached to his people: "The Mission Comes First" and "Improvise, Adapt, and Overcome".
It doesn't seem like 4 years, but it wont seem like 5 or 6 or 10.
You are truly missed sir!
HOOAH!
Philip attended and led many training events and other activities. He always brought energy that made people want to do better.
