What size bed sheets do I need to bring to encampment?
Unfitted twin in plain white usually works. Though the longer length ones might be better even without a longer mattress.
You may not need any - only bring what is on the packing list and direct questions to the encampment staff.
If may be on his packing list. :)
Not every encampment is the same.

True enough.
ARWG encampments were held at LRAFB until this year. The cadets stayed in cabins that held between 8 and 10 people. There were no beds, only cots, and everyone was encouraged to bring sleeping gear. WIWAC we were treated to beds with sheets and pillowcases and blankets AND air-conditioned comfort. The downside was we had to make our beds.
On the packing list for the Georgia Wing Encampment, it says to bring bed linens and a sleeping bag.
Just a humorous observation-
CAP cadets (and military basic trainees, etc) have the plain white twin bed sheets and hospital corners to boot. We teach everyone to be all grown up and professional looking, and take pride (something like that) in their bunk's appearance.
When they're about ten years older, in the active duty military and deployed overseas, what did my Soldiers have on their beds? Superhero sheets from the kid's section at Wal Mart. Hypothesis: Military experience is inversely proportional to the seriousness of your bunk.
I used to have Budweiser sheets on my bed at one duty station when I was in the Navy. The unit OIC thought they were "very modern" when he saw them during zone inspections.
On second thought... definitely go with the pink and purple Dora the Explorer sheet set.
Better to have super hero sheets than super hero shorts. >:D
Personally I prefer the superhero back packs. Nothing says ES Competency like a Dora or Superman 24 hour pack.
