Title: Braces vs Retainer at an NCSA? - Answered - TY!
Post by: Chirpoff on May 05, 2013, 01:18:42 AM
I'm going to HMSARS and a PNFA. *yay* My question is: Which is better, getting my braces off now, because my teeth are pretty much ready, or wait till after the activities? How much of a hassle would having, and keeping track of, a retainer at an NCSA cause? Thanks in advance!   :D

Get them off when the orthodontist says they should come off. I'm sure you will manage either way. :)

If you are making your medical/dental decisions based on CAP activities.....I think you need to check your priorities.

Either way....should no matter which you wear.

Thank you both. You're absolutely right; just looking for an opinion. My orthodontist's recommendation of course will preside. Thanks again.
