Title: High Quality Emblem Image Needed
Post by: jpizzo127 on April 16, 2013, 04:12:59 PM
Does anyone know where I can get the highest resolution image of the National and if possible NY Wing Emblems?

We're having a banner made and the sign maker does not want to use a JPG for fear of pixelization on magnifying the emblem.

I did not think it mattered as long as the image was high res. He said he needed a .PDF version.

Anyone know where I can get whats needed to have the banner made?

Thanks in advance.

If you're having a banner cut from vinyl, you need a vector image.  The CAP seal and emblems are available in vector format from the Air Force (http://www.af.mil/art/mediagallery.asp?galleryID=5187 (http://www.af.mil/art/mediagallery.asp?galleryID=5187)  The "EPS" files are vector and scale to any size).

As for the NYWG emblem, you'd probably want to email the Wing public affairs office and start there.
