My son had his first o-flights last Saturday. One in the 182 and another in the glider. The local news took interest because he has autism (he is very highly functioning).

I'm really proud of him... Not just for going flying, but especially for doing the interview. He is VERY shy.

Good stuff! I'd be very interested to hear how he continues to progress as a cadet. I've had several friends with autistic children and I think this is an example of how well these kids can do if given a chance. Congrats.
