I recently (Monday night) took over as Squadron Commander, and I need/want to attend an Unit Commanders Course. Is anybody running one in northwest CO or Western Nebraska? or an online class?
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe UCC is offered as an online course.
There are units (UTWG comes to mind) that have an in-house course that they broadcast online and provide for ways to interact. It's not like a SLS or CLC, though.

I understand that to be correct. You can get the materials online via eServices, but the course itself is not offered online.

UCC is a very exceptional class. The ones I have been to has always had Wing and Group Staff people you want to meet and know. It is always good to meet the other local Squadron Commanders too.
Enjoy and have fun.

I recently (Monday night) took over as Squadron Commander...
Congratulations. The job can be a lot of fun.
Congrats,
I was just recently informed that I am going to be the new SQ Cmmdr for my FL Squadron with official COC (Change of Command) on May 23rd; same date as our C/Cmmdr COC. I am attending the UCC at Ft. Blanding in FL at end of April and looking forward to it. Just had a great time working at Lakeland,FL Sun N Fun Festival at the CAP ICP/DDR/FAA & Flightline. Will share anything I can after course at end of April.
On a side note, my understanding on UCC in eServices is that it is a pre-study area to inform prospective Cmmdrs about the course. It is not the actual course and is not (at this time) online, at least here in FL.
COWG is running a UCC April 20-21 at Peterson AFB (Colorado Springs). Not exactly a hop skip and a jump from WY, but doable depending on your location. I'm attending and I live in Ft Collins, which is darn near in WY.
If the drive is doable there will be a question whether you can still enroll and obtain base access in less than a week.

Dang. that's what I get for not checking back in a while. I am the CC in Cheyenne, and live 2 hours from Ft. Collins.
