Title: Inflight laser strikes
Post by: Flying Pig on March 23, 2013, 03:55:11 AM
My 3 mniutes of fame.....

I was interviewed by the local news about 3 people in Fresno being indicted for pointing a laser at several aircraft.  Im the ugly cop, not the attractive reporter.

The defendents also face a $250,000 fine.. yeah, like that will ever get paid.
Low life scum.

Probably won't see the inside of the Gray Bar Hotel either, though.

Why is the N number on Air George partially obfuscated?
Even another image shows it that way, too.

Looks like just a bad (re?)paint job.  It's visible in this shot and in some others from the other side.

I believe its a shadowing caused by one of the tail boom strakes.  The tail boom of an EC135 isnt completely round and smooth.

You fly helos too, Rob? For some reason I thought you were fixed-wing.

I'm not judging, some people swing both ways. :D

Nicely done interview, btw.

Flying and A2-

I think the N appears slighty obfuscated because one of the blades is causing a shadow on it... then maybe it could be what Flying stated...
