Title: Anyone using texcom.com?
Post by: johnnyb47 on January 09, 2013, 09:21:10 PM
We started using www.texcom.com (http://www.texcom.com) a few months back for our alerting, messaging, document management, etc and I was wondering if anyone else was using it, how it's being used, etc.
We have shared calendaring, event notification/registration, and downloadable schedules with it.

I'm looking for other ideas and ways to maximize it's functionality. If anyone uses it a different way I'd appreciate the feedback.

thanks!

That company has been spamming the heck out of FLWG members.

Our review found it to be non-compliant with OPSEC and privacy concerns.  Also, it doesn't do anything existing in-house software doesn't already do (except for the text alerts, but we already have another program for that.)

Summary, it's a no-go.

thanks for the review!

I admit we won't put any PII up there but with SSL and AES encryption, what specifically do you find to be non-compliant?

Scratch that. SSL only. there is no encryption on the backend ofwww.texcom.com (http://www.texcom.com).
No storage of PII up there for me!
