Title: Fresno Tower Shenanigans circa 1980's

Fresno Tower Jump.mpg (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lswAHFvh4I#)

This is wrong on so many levels.....  But geeez it was hilarious!  The news here always, even to this day, uses the tower as a back drop for the news stories.   Its my sick sense of humor I guess.

When they were interviewing the tower supervisor you could tell he was trying not to laugh.  My... how times have changed.  Today this would have been national news and there would be 1000 people suing the FAA for PTSD and probably 25 people would have been fired.   "Mr. Gilmore..... umm..... havnt seen him" >:D

That is funny.  They used to have a SFC at Ft. Bliss that would get set up on the repel tower to jump, would step out of view, and then two people would throw a dummy over the side and it would hit the ground and bounce.  The new people would run away like crazy screaming.  Even the CSM and Col thought it was funny.  Imagine about 100 enlisted people running away and trying to not run over them.

No that's just what public safety does to one's sense of humor. I'm the same way.
