3/10" of an inch as the highest total in the area. That big retention pond on the East kept the area within the "eye" of the storm almost the whole time. It rained, got pretty windy for a few hours and then nothing. A dusting at best. The grass is crunchy white, and the sidewalks are a little slick. If temps hold it might not even be a white Christmas, with nothing more in the forecast until Wednesday.
At least it's something. ;)
We're (well at least I am) are wanting to get a blizzard on Christmas. I wish it would have happened today though.

Tons of rain and wind last night, now just more rain. Christmas forecast calls for 45 degrees and sunny. Although, Wednesday's forecast has listed scattered snow showers and rain. Think I'll look weird if I fire up the snow blower and chase snow flakes?
I got called up to Milwaukee with my Guard unit. We played a lot of Call of Duty, basketball, threw a football around and watched some movies. The armory got about 2", which turned to slush and then ice overnight.
Here in Iowa, it was a different story.
I received about 12" here at my house, it started as a rain/snow mix. The problem was the 40-50mph winds that kicked up with the snow. In Des Moines, it caused about 30,000 people to lose power (myself included). Fortunately, it was only out at my house for about 6 hours. My office was out for about 24 hours, and we reopened this morning.
North of here, 2 people were killed in a 25 car pileup on I-35 http://www.kcci.com/news/central-iowa/2-killed-in-25-vehicle-pileup/-/9357080/17851532/-/nvck99z/-/index.html (http://news%20story). They actually shut down parts of the interstates yesterday due to the conditions.
Now the roads are a nasty combination of wet slush and packed ice. The packed ice on residential streets has turned into urban off-roading in some spots. Makes me glad I have an F-150 FX4.

We got around 3 inches or so, but when I got the voice notification on my pager around 1 pm yesterday saying we were in a Blizzard Warning I really thought the world was ending, we had some nice gusts topping 60+ glad I was inside yesterday and it was my day off.
I had a smattering of slush on my car this morning (mostly collected at the base of the windshield), but as I got closer to work (close to 30 miles away), the snow got a little more pronounced. (there is a bit of an elevation change, too)
The worst thing is that it was very low clouds and heavy rain this evening headed home. Makes for that crappy "darker than heck" driving where every light induces glare and your wipers can't keep up.
On another note, the winds topped out at 45mph at the DZ. I suggested XC jumps, nobody was going to take me up on it.
Got it hard here in Wisconsin. Near the lake was laughable, west was bad. Work yesterday had my delivery route start in the southeast of the state (driving rain, 38F) and ended closer to Madison (blizzard, low 30s). Got the work truck stuck in the snow last night, took an hour to get out. Got stuck again today on an unplowed road, took 4.5 hours for a wrecker to get out to us. Of my 14 furniture deliveries, I was able to do four. Three other delivery trucks got stuck too, not a good day.
I'm currently back in my squadron's AO and we got a light 6" over night. Not bad. Added to the nice few inches already on the ground.
11" snow here, 210,00 people without power on Christmas Day, 7+ days forecast to get power back on. Freezing rain followed by snow this afternoon. Warnings that those with power could losse it again today.
I was without power for 70 hours, beginning 1445 on Christmas day until 0300 this morning. Unknown how long will have.
