I'm just curious about how many people are in each track.
any more ???
don't think so
well there are new members, but got buried on like page three or so.
I would have put down cadet programs, professional development, finance, personnel and administration, but I hold master ratings in those so I am not enrolled in those tracks.
You are missing the IT and DDR tracks.

The IT and DDR tracks were created the month after he made the poll.
Not missing any more. ;D

I put down my master ratings. Did that skew the curve? I thought you were looking for people in those tracks, ever.
Doesn't matter to me, I'm not doing a stats project. ;) Though it might be fun, IF I got a big enough sample. ;D 8)
I put down what I currently server in. I used to be logistics and have worked closely with ES and Cadet Progrgrams. Although I am being enrolled in the latter so I can take part in the IACE program and go abroad.
You missed Legal or doesnt CAP want to admit it has lawyers?
Added^^^ forgot about legal.
Im in Legal, it wasnt there when I posted my others. So you have at least one lawyer here, even though I cant post it.
Hmmmmm, I thought I had it set up to be able to where you could change your vote. Mods, any advice?
I finally figured it out, got my vote in for legal.
Personnel, Emergency Services, Administration, Cadets
(And Commander might be in my near future as well)

How does that work, I thought the command track was just a ghost track?

Why it's not on the list.
:bump:
I've been wanting to give all the new personnel a chance to contribute to my study, and see if the overall percentages change.
Didn't see this one until now, thanks for the bump, I currently hold actual ratings in Cadet Programs and Logistics (both Tech.) Have been working on three others in the past or present.
Aerospace which I would have by now but for a few requirements in the training that due to sveral seniors also being in the track has been hard to get, my communications has fallen by the wayside as we don't have much of a active radio program which hopefully will change in this new year, Currently working on DDR because no else in the units is doing it so I have it to myself for now. I do plan on getting Senior in Logistics as soon as I can but it's only in the middle of the list.
I have a Tech in LG AE and CP. Thinking about going for ES just so I have all the core missions covered ;D
I have a Master rating in the Chaplain track.
I have a tech rating in the Historian's track and am enroled in the PD track. I will soon have a senior rating in the Historian's track.

Master in personnel and professional development. Tech in communications. Just enrolled in logistics as I'll be in the LG shop at wing this spring. Gave up DPD duties after six years.

Three masters - you both are great examples - keep up the good work. And I'm sure there are other here on Captalk who also have a number of ratings.
Bump.
What is the "easiest" track in which to get a Master rating ?
And what pray tell is the hardest...
I think Admin or Personnel are the "easiest" in terms of length of time to earn.
ES is pretty difficult, because it requires that you actually move up from the squadron to complete.

Logistics. Master rating in two years, no tests, no specific requirements outside of know the regs and can do the job...

Good to know!
Thanks!
I admit that OE has been kind of confusing to me so seeing it still listed as a Specialty Track in EServices had me scratching my head after reading your comment.

I think it's transitional. OE 1.0 was a specialty track, and it is being phased out in favour of the new program

Logistics easy.
PAO requires a correspondence course. Communications has a tough Master test. The hardest is IG you have to attend IG college in NM for a week.
The master rating in IG takes a bit more than just attend the IG college.
At a minimum, the IG master rated student should:
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Assessments
(1) Plan, organize and execute two subordinate unit inspections (SUI) in addition to the requirements needed for the senior rating. The one team leader SUI required for the senior rating may count toward the master rating: the intent is to make accomplishment of required tasks cumulative.
(2) Critique the mission accomplishment of each inspected area (tab).
(3) Appraise the results of an assessment and analytically apply the grading criteria.
Complaints
(1) Perform a thorough written complaint analysis demonstrating understanding of the 5 possible outcomes.
(2) Select the correct template(s) in creating a Report of Investigation (ROI).
(3) Create a concise ROI from facts acquired during an investigation.
ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT
The student must complete the following academic requirement:
(1) Graduate from the CAP Inspector General College Completion of the Senior Level course is a prerequisite for the College. This requirement may be waived by the CAP-IG on a case by case basis. Examples could be: recent appointment to a wing IG position just prior to the start of the biennial IG College, to eliminate the need to wait two-years to attend the college. The CAP-IG may require completion of the on-line basic course as a substitute.
SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
Additionally, the student must complete the following service requirements:
(1) Participate as a team leader in two graded assessments
(2) Successfully complete the handling of a CAP complaint from start to finish.
(3) Be evaluated by the CAP/IG, or designee, using Attachment 1.
(4) Serve as a wing and/or region IG or on the IG staff at National level for greater than 2 years; or, alternatively, upon recommendation by a wing or region IG, an assistant who has served for a period of greater than 2 years may apply to the CAP-IG for a master rating.

I took it to mean there was a requirement outside normal participation - similar to ES master which requires AFRCC.

Or a ES School conducted and/or approved by the NHQ CAP/DO.
Commo is my primary and IT is secondary.
I'm a new SM who recently completed his Level I. Sadly, we don't have a commo in our squadron so I'm having to consult w/ wing about most of my questions.
I hope you enjoy them both.
PD-Master
Admin-Master
Personnel-Tech
AE-Tech
Not really doing AE at this point. I need to get on the ball w/Personnel.
Currently have Tech ratings in Cadet Programs, Admin, Personnel. and by regs since I am in the roles as Aerospace Ed office and finance Officer I am also working on those. I consider my primaries to be admin/Personnel. I was tech rated in cadet programs back in the mid 90's and am not currently in the role.
As the CDS I guess you could say I also dabble in all tracks to the point of knowing what each of my people is doing and what they are required to do. That way I can help them achieve success. Even if its only asking them what if any help do they need or what additional training would be beneficial to them in their current fields.
2nd Lt in CAP little over 1year

Admin - Tech
PDO - Tech
Hold all 3 at Squadron Level
and hold

Wow. Hope you don't get burn out.
