Title: Balloon Pilot

I am very interested in earning the balloon pilot rating.  Can anyone give me a ballpark figure or how much money and time this might consume.  Also any applicable regs will help.

The wings are cool.   First time I saw a pair I thought they were jump wings ;D

I checked into it about a year ago, a civilian instructor using his balloon would be about $6000 for your private (as an add on to your ASEL).
