Title: Flight Academy Patch
Post by: CDCTF on April 12, 2012, 12:30:15 AM
So, I just recently turned Senior Member, I'm getting my uniform all squared away. My question is in regards to my Flight Academy Patch on my BDUs. As a SM am I allowed to wear this? The 39-1 doesn't seem to specify that it is a cadet only patch. Your knowledge is greatly appreciated!

Assuming we're talking about the national one which is an NCSA, it can be worn as one of the optional patches on the rightleft breast pocket,
or, according to the most recent ICL, instead of a wing patch on the left shoulder.

I don't see anything about it being cadet-only.

Yes, it was a national academy. Cool then, I thought I was going to have to get rid of my bling. I just needed a second opinion. Thanks!

Hate to nitpick, but optional patches go on the wearer's left breast pocket.

Ugh, not a nitpick at all, good catch.

Right pocket when looked at! :)
