Title: I have a GES question re: minimum qualifications
Post by: disamuel on February 09, 2012, 11:42:53 PM
For a member to participate in a SAREX, is the minimum requirement GES, or is it GES and ICS-100 and ICS-700. If possible please provide a cite in any publication or the Knowledgebase. I have looked around briefly but can't come up with anything except anecdotal proof of the requirement. (I am also aware that to participate a member should also be listed as a trainee for one SQTR.)

Just to be clear, my question is, where are the minimum requirements listed.

Thanks in advance-

The SQTR for GES lists the following

Entry Level--Achievment 1 or Level 1

CAPT 116.

That is all that is required for GES.

That is the minimum to sign in to the SAREX....to be assigned a job requires you to have Trainee status....and that requires at a minimum GES and commander sign off and the Fam and Prep training completed before assignment.
