Title: No cadet officers in squadron
Post by: cadetesman on January 30, 2012, 12:24:54 AM
Hello, my squadron of about 15 active cadets has no cadet officers.

Is this a rarity, or pretty normal?

Thanks

Not unusual.

Hopefully you also do not have a Cadet Commander or Flight Commanders assigned either.

Depends on the unit. In one I was with, just as soon as a cadet hit officer , his parents would pcs.

in a squadron with 15 it's not unusual at all.
However I would think that within the next year or so you would have at least one, right?

In the next year, our squadron will have a whole load of officers, more then we need I would think.

That's backward thinking.

If you have "too many officers" it means you have a great retention rate.
It means you have a lot of people who can be planning lots of activites, training, recruiting.
