Iron maiden is awesome!  :D

I wish they would come to my city.   We never get any big bands.   :'(

Always liked Iron Maiden.  Saw them back in 86 and again in 2010.  Great show both times!

I always thought it was cool that Bruce Dickinson (the lead singer) took time to learn how to fly, on an airliner no less.

But he still puts his pants on one leg at a time...

From the sound of the interview, it sounded like they turned that B757 into a combi, storing some of the bands gear aft, in the upper deck. That and he computed the time changes to coincide with the band schedule so they wouldn't arrive exhausted or disrupt their rest. The guy, either a roadie or manager said with Bruce's required rest periods, they would get 24 hours after a concert to see the city they were in. This is music, aviation, and logistics in one package.

Sorry, it was a bad joke. I understood your point- Bruce is still just a regular guy-I neglected to acknowledge it. My bad, Sir.

I still don't think you get the joke.. This is _the_ Bruce Dickenson we're talking about.

That right there is called "disposable income"!

Although I dont doubt he is a type rated commercial pilot, I bet the pilot sitting in the other seat doesnt venture to far from the cockpit  ;)

he's got four boards on his shoulders and I think I read that he has been an airline pilot for 10 years or more.  I'm thinking the other guy might possibly have less experience than him....    >:D
