OK. so I am patting myself on the back ::), last night I assumed command of MER-DE-020; the North Chesapeake Cadet Squadron of the Delaware Wing. The squadron is actually located in Elkton, Maryland at the Cecil County Airport / Raintree Airpark (58M). My new squadron has 17 cadets and 7 senior members. I was also promoted to Captain at the same time. The Wing Commander, Col William "Ziggy" Bernfeld presided at the Change of Command Ceremony. The out-going commander; Capt George McCloud will continue as PAO.
Congrats - you now have the best job in CAP!
