Title: NC CCOC
Post by: FutureAirman on December 13, 2011, 05:22:02 AM
Hey,
So I'm new on these forums and I have a hard time maneuvering around the topics so I figured I'd just start a new topic. Does anyone know if \ when the NC wing Combat Control Orientation Course is? I haven't seen any updates for this coming year.

Thanks!

The same question crossed my mind.  Their site hasnt been updated from last year, but here is the link anyway. http://www.capnc007.org/ccoc/usafccoc.html (http://www.capnc007.org/ccoc/usafccoc.html)

They also have a Facebook group page.  Check it out -- many of their instructors and former attendees are members of the group.

2012 Combat Control Orientation Course will be held from 29 Jul to 4 Aug 11 on Pope Army Airfield/Ft. Bragg North Carolina.

Good luck.
2009 Executive Officer.

PS:  Be sure that you train now for PT, and ensure ALL of the paperwork is completed before the deadline.  You will NOT be considered for a slot if it is submitted after that time mark has passed.  Last year, there were 130+ applications, only 30ish were submitted on time.  Made the staffs' job a whole lot easier to choose 20 out of 34.

The higher your PT score, the better chances you have at being selected.  Also if you are selected, be prepared to go home if you fail the in-processing PT test, or your uniforms are not IAW 39-1.  There are NO refunds.

Nope. I'm a little far away, and short on time. Would LOVE to go back and do it again. I hate to say this, but I kind of miss fort bragg. I'm not sure my body is up to doing all the pt. :(

The doughnut reference is a CCOC staffer inside joke. I'll never tell.

Are you feeling ok?  You miss Fort Bragg?  You deffinently need a doughnut, and a cup of coffee.

Ok. Ok. I just miss some of the great people I worked with.
