Title: Marching and table banners - standard sizes?
Post by: Eclipse on November 04, 2011, 04:01:14 AM
Anyone have a clue or a preference on how tall these things should be?

I've had a request locally for help with the graphics for an 8 foot marching banner and a 6 foot table banner, but they didn't give me a height.

I can't speak to the table banner but any marching banner I've seen clears the ground by a good 6 to 12 inches when held at the waist by a 5'-6"ish person.

What if they are on a train going Eastbound at 30 miles an hour?

When were these banners added to the Drill and Ceremonies manual. I don't remember seeing them WIWAC.
