Umm...  What's a UCC?

If it's the Unit Commanders Course, how are you, as a cadet, going?

Is there a different UCC?

What, when and where is the UCC?

I wouldn't mind observing it if it's relatively close and I'm not busy.

Cool, thanks.  I may show up as a spectator with my kids.  I was just camping across the street from Blanding this past weekend and thought about visiting their museum with my son.  This may have just sold it.  It'll be cool to watch cadets have fun without being there officially.

I'm prettyt sure if you showed up with your kids, someone would be glad to take your renewal

I have another 2 months to renew since CAP was nice enough to extend my membership for free due to my recent return from Afghanistan.  I have to say, I'm still pleasently surprised, and thankful, that CAP took it upon themselves to offer such a benefit to us deploying types.

Hey stonewall,

The deadline for spectators has passed (it was 22nd of sept.). :'(

Besides, I think spectators are supposed to be on the team's application.

Not if you just happen to be on the base via your CAC card...

... or non-CAC card, as the case may be.  :)

Don't give the guy a hard time.  I'm thinking he was assuming that was saying that I wanted to be a participating spectator as part of a unit.  I was thinking about going incognito in civilian attire with kids in tow and obsrrve as someone who happened upon the event.  After all, I'm not even a member of FLWG.
