Title: Help Teaching A Cadet Class
Post by: ProdigalJim on September 07, 2011, 09:00:17 PM
Hi Everyone,

As the resident ALS provider in my unit, I've been asked to teach the cadets/GTM3 candidates about hot and cold weather injuries. I'm developing the class into a "Family Feud" sort of format...Flight vs. Flight...to both teach and reinforce. Basically, they'll compete to identify injuries and pathologies. BUT, I'm striking out finding digital images of a heat stroke victim versus a heat exhaustion victim. I want them to see the difference between the very hot, dry, dehydrated person and the clammy-skin worn-out person, and I'm just not finding anything on the interwebs that works. Do any of my fellow medics on the board happen to have something like that? Can you PM me if you do?

And, P.S., if any VA-102 cadets are lurking on this board, DON'T spoil it for the others. Remember the Core Values!  ;D

OK, that Google search will haunt my dreams for a while.

You're on your own, man!
