Title: How Long Does It Take for Nat HQ to Post Level I Completion?
Post by: Luis R. Ramos on August 12, 2011, 04:52:44 PM
Hi-

I took Level I online, took the tests to my commander, she graded them on 9 Aug. Then reported it following procedure, guess must have been 10 Aug. I guess I now am expecting since it was online, to have seen it yesterday. On the other hand, I sometimes tend to try to rush things...

If you have taken Level I online and had it corrected at your unit, about how long did it take Nat HQ to post the achievement?

Thanks for your response,

Flyer

I assume you signed a CAPF 11 at the time the tests were corrected at your unit. Assuming your commander then emailed the CAPF 11 to the appropriate email address at NHQ, I've seen it take a day to 10 days for Level One items to post. If it hasn't posted in 10 days, I'd ask your commander or PDO to follow up with the NHQ PD office.

As we are coming up on a National Board Meeting it might take longer. Most of the NHQ staff has a lot of extra work in preparation for these.

Generally 2-3 working days.  I e-mailed one today, I will start looking for it after COB Tuesday.

I've had them take as little as one day (e-mailed in the evening, logged in e-services by the end of the following day), and as long as 5 working days.

I assume you signed a CAPF 11...

I guess some folks will never get it.

The one I e-mailed last Friday registered in e-Services today, so 5 working days.  That's actually a day or so longer than usual.  I guess they were indeed busy with the meeting.

Absolutely.  I spoke with NHQ several times leading up to this.  Most staff are impacted in some way.  The person in question....I spoke with her last week and she mentioned chickens with their heads chopped off.  She is the only person for these and PD goes in as "fast as my fingers can type" (her words).  She is very efficient, though.  Unless there's a problem, she generally gets things done very quickly and she is doing THE ENTIRE ORGANIZATION.

I seem to recall it taking mine about a week after we finished with the review, which I figured was pretty good.

It was about the same for the online Officer Basic Course through Blackboard. I finished it last weekend, and got a message saying it could take up to two weeks to update my records. I guess they don't have any sort of electronic linkage between Blackboard and NHQ to automatically update it. Anyway, it took five days...it posted late Friday afternoon, and the e-mail with my completion certificate arrived early Saturday morning. I figured that was also doing pretty good considering the annual meeting was going on this week. No complaints here.

For the OBC, the person who runs the course compiles a report and sends it to the Professional Development Registrar.

Moderator-

Please close this thread.

I am the OP. Changed squadrons, the new CC graded tests same day, had summary conversations same day, she submitted CAPF 11 electronically. Since it was for Level I did not have to sign. Done on a Tuesday, she sent a reminder to National HQ on a Friday. Nat HQ backdated the Foundations to the Tuesday and dated CPPT to the Monday following.

All tjis on the eve of the national meeting!

I want to thank everyone for their comments.
