Title: INWG SAREVAL officially underway
Post by: davidsinn on June 23, 2011, 04:45:19 PM
For those of you coming I look forward to meeting you. For those not coming wish us luck. I'm looking forward to an exercise just eight miles from home. ;D

If you happen to see Maj Argenti running around, tell him that nobody likes him.

Tell him who told you, and he'll get it right away.

That sure beats the almost 3 hour drive I'll have this morning.

We had our SAR EVAL here in Delaware last weekend.  How long does it take for the report to be rendered?  It was my first, and I'm kind of curious how it was perceived by the evaluators.

Usually, the same day of the evaluation exercise you get the verbal report at the end of the day.  Not sure how long the written report takes but it is the USAF doing the evaluation, so I would suspect it would be rather quickly since it's a paid staff.

We just got done with the PAWG Guided Training Exercise, and they said within 1-3 weeks for the written.  I would imagine that it would be similar for the Ops Evals with maybe a hair longer depending on their OPSTEMPO and also the fact it's an eval and not just a exercise.

Phil's good people, I'm sure he told you that he came from my squadron, and commanded it for about two months before he moved down there.  I replaced him.

I heard there was some nonesense going on over here, and actually received the message from two different people.

I had no time to get on the web during the exercise because I was busy leading the EXCELLENT-rated Communications Unit.  I appreciate all the work that my radio operators put in, as well as the cooperation of the other sections/branches involved.  It didn't hurt that TSgt Jonas was my evaluator, but he made us work for our rating.

I passed the message on while I was on my way to the OUTSTANDING rated flight-line yesterday morning. ;D
