Title: Squadron Closure

Looks like Massachusetts Wing has a squadron that closed:

Phoenix Bay Path Composite Squadron (NER-MA-074), Southbridge, MA --  My understanding is this unit operated for close to 30 years.

A sad day for CAP and the wing :(

Not the only recent closure in MAWG. NER-MA-076, Bristol County Composite, closed 11 Dec 2009.

That was the 2nd Bristol Squad, the first merged with Brockton not use when. They kept the Brockton name and meet at the Taunton Airport.
