Title: GT Gear setup
Post by: RC007 on May 08, 2011, 09:57:52 PM
Everyone feel free to post their 24hr and 72hr loadouts, contents, weight. Whatever you want. I'm just trying to get a feel for what people use.
24hr- I currently am using a Enhanced Load Bearing Vest, butt pack, and a small pack that can carry my Camelbak bladder.
72hr- A Large ALICE pack with frame, and all of the goodies from the list  ;)

Yeah that really helps...
Anyway I use a Swiss Arms tactical vest, a drop leg pouch and a Camelbak. My 72 hour gear is an ALICE pack with all the necessities. But yes, this thread has been done and re-done. :P

For my 24-hr pack, I use a red Mountainsmith Tour lumbar pack, and a separate CamelBak for H20. Everything fits nicely in the pack, it's comfortable and I don't have to take it off to get anything out of it - I just swing around to the front & open 'er up.
