I have received approval from the CAPHF Board of Directors to go through with the minting of a 70th Anniversary CAP Historical Foundation challenge coin. The design is attached and can be used as a screensaver or background. The coins will be done by Vanguard and will be available through the CAPHF website eventually.
Win :) that looks really cool. :) :)
Guess what is my new screensaver!
WOW.
OK, I get the desktop thing. But how is it a screen saver? It would need to be a .SCR or other animated file to be functional in that respect.
I think the good Colonel was suggesting the use of the image as desktop background, and not the traditional meaning of screensaver meaning an animated/moving image designed to kick in during periods of inactivity.
Hey, just asking. Thought I might be missing something, somewhere.
Yes the backdrop is what I was talking about. I just call it something different I guess. I appreciate the responses.
That is amazing!
 "Winning!"
OK Jim what are you going to do for an encore?
wondering why there are three black vans in my driveway and after this post a 4th....
So where do we place our orders. I'll take two.
I ordered the coins from Vanguard today.
Ordered 50 Silver Finish Coins
Ordered 150 Bronze Finish Coins
Will take about 4 weeks.
I am not sure about how we are going to do the price and such as of yet. That will be up to the CAPHF Board to decide as soon as we get them.
