Any crew chiefs out there that have been using WMIRS scheduling for a while? How do you schedule an aircraft in WMIRS for down time to do annuals or other maintenance requiring future scheduling for multiple days? WMU would do this but I cannot find a way in WMIRS. ???

thats the problem with the new system..
I wish they really finished all the features before moving us to the wmirs scheduling.
For long periods of time (more than a day as it were) we simply put them "NOT MISSION CAPABLE". That shows up should someone go to schedule it, and factually, if it's down for an annual, it is not mission capable.
But I agree, I wish the scheduler worked more efficiently.
NMC seems like a workable solution. Will give it a try. Thanks.
