I had a pdf copy of the Squadron Commander's Handbook, but can't find it on my computers. Does anyone have a copy?
The curriculum for the UCC has updated versions of most of the information that was in the Commander's Guide.
I may have a copy on my old laptop. I'll see about grabbing it next time I fire it up.
It won't let me upload it, but I can email it if you like.
Thanks, after digging through all my drives I finally found it. Thanks for the help!!

Can we get a copy and we'll find some hosting space for it, so everyone can access the document as reference material?

Is this available yet?
I emailed it. Don't know if he got it or not.
Following up: Can someone post the file?

Just a note; it says on the site it's listed on that it's "no-longer-current", and it's dated February 1994. Did a brief skim and found quite a few things off (cadet minimum age, etc.), so who knows what's out-of-date.

Yup -- we're aware it's not current which is why it's not available from NHQ's website and has to be hocked on Internet forums. Even more unfortunately, nobody in CAP has produced an updated Unit Commander's Guide (NHQ
has however found time to produce 4 different logos, 4 different flight suit patches, 2 van decal changes, and change our organization's website URL 4 times since this publication fell into discontinuance).
Despite being out of date on some items, it's still seen by some as a handy publication to have. This publication can still be a good reference and idea source as long as the reader
knows that some details may be outdated.
The line for your SSN on the inside cover is funny. Different times, eh?
Is anyone interested in this project (an updated Squadron Commander's Handbook)? Among all the files that I am digging out, recovering, compiling, updating, and preparing for release is a set of stuff to do a Squadron Commander's Handbook. I started an outline, research, etc. on this before but it was a lower-priority project.
and Bob...or somebody...didn't you have a PDF of this? I can't download the PDF from docstoc unless I pay to register on yet another site. nvm. found it.
I'm definitely interested 8)
