I'm a "has-been". It was too good to last.
Congratulations to Col Craig Treadwell, the new National Cadet Advisor.
I'm sure we all wish him well in his new role. He needs and deserves our support as well.
(And now anything that goes wrong is all his fault. 8) )
Ned Lee
Former National Cadet Advisor
Three "huzzahs" for Lt Col Ned Lee for his outstanding work as the National Cadet Advisor -- "huzzah" "huzzah" "huzzah"
No disrespect intended but what is a "National Cadet Advisor"? I've never heard of that position per se. It's not a role defined in R20-1 nor is it in R52-16 or P52-19. What is this role responsible for and to whom do they report? Is this just the senior member (ie. "Senior Advisor") that supervises the National CAC?

Thanks for the response. So where is that job description found (or any of those advisory positions, for that matter)?
PM Sent.
I was hoping this would be a thread wishing Col Treadwell well on his new appointment, and perhaps offering advice.
Congratulations to Col Craig Treadwell, the new National Cadet Advisor.
And, Ned, I am sure that you have more than enough advice for him..
The job requires a "Maniac"
Having meet Craig at a few NER activities, my perception is that he is very dedicated to the cadet program.
Even with the challenges & limitations on NER, I think he did a fine job with these cadet activities.
I wish him well in his new position

Will Col Treadwell still be serving as the NER Director of Cadet Programs?

Will Col Treadwell still be serving as the NER Director of Cadet Programs?
Probably not.
Congrats to Col Craig Treadwell!
Col Treadwell's successor as NER CP is Maj Bob Gilbert, who was previously NER Prof Dev officer. Maj Gilbert has been actively involved with cadet program in NH WG, as well as NER Cadet Competition & Cadet Academy (RCLS in tandem with a basic encampment).
