Title: Recommended Screencast Software
Post by: Capt Rivera on July 25, 2010, 09:55:01 PM
Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for Screencast software. The preference would be for free vs paid for software unless that paid software has a pretty adventitious license. Only interested in software that will capture both video & audio.

I think there might be some software that either requires or optionally offers online public/private storage. The preference would be software that does not require this and if so, only allows viewing by those granted access. Not uploading to a server associated with the application will probably prove to be a requirement.

For those not familiar with Screencasting, the following is an example.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

Thanks Commgeek,

Assuming you used it... Can you tell me why you recommend it. Do you have an example of something you have made with it?

- Its hard to find example screencasts and know which software made them... but also made by amateurs... or at least not the people who created the software...

Per the IT Topics post (http://captalk.net/index.php?topic=9918.0)... should this be moved to tools of the trade?
